I first spotted this book in a used book store, but thought the last page might be a bit too scary for my 1 year old. So I didn't buy it. After purchasing several other really clever board books by Petr Horacek, I ordered this one used through Amazon.I needn't have worried. My 1 year old finds the last page (with the big tiger who would like to eat him) hilarious and giggles every time.

Our librarian handed this to us brand new and it is gorgeous. Bright colors, crayon and ink style illustrations, with just enough text to tell a simple story about what each cat likes. The pages are differant shapes which eventually make up the stripes for the tiger on the last page..who would like to eat you for dinner.
Both my toddlers love it ( 1yr & 2yr)it makes them giggle everytime. So have to buy my own copy as the library wants theirs back!
