Wow this book was a very enjoyable read. I started reading it one day just to get a few chapters read and next thing i knew i had half the book devoured. It had a great mystery element to it where the character like you has no idea what is going on and you get to discover all the facts right along with the character. I really looking forward to reviewing the rest of this series.

Enjoyed this book very much. Fast - paced. Interesting A whole new kind of story..
Looking forward to the next in the series.
I have mixed reviews about the book it had some moments that just didnt make any since. Then there were moments that where I could relate. If you are into witches and other unnatural events this is the book to read.
This book was great. It showed a different view of witches. I would definitely recommend this book to readers of all ages.
3stars for young young adults. 2 stars for adults. This was not a bad book, but it was clearly written for young young adults. The story was good but the dialogue was sometimes hard to wade through. The setting is also unclear. If the author is trying to place magical witches in our time/space she did not succeed, from my point of view. I also was not crazy about the protagonist, I didn't like her and therefore couldn't get vested in her outcome. I hope the author will work at honing her skills. Young adults can read and enjoy good writing.
Interesting characters and storyline. Fast and easy read that primes you into wanting more sequels! I recommend this as a nice summer novel to read and pass on!
The basis of the story is good and true to teens but I hated the self centered idiot girl who time after time put her desires over everyone's lives then whinned when didn't go her way
I really enjoyed this story about an African American teen-aged girl living in Utah. She has some typical and not so typical teenage problems. Her parents are Wicca practitioners and this basically tells how she becomes involved in practicing witchcraft. Although this story is written for YA readers, I think that a much wider audience would enjoy this book.
